Administrators are able to change the policy settings for an organization.


To change an organization's policy settings:


  1. Log in as an administrator.
  2. Click on the Administration tab.
  3. Click the dropdown arrow beside Settings.
  4. Click Policies.
  5. From the Maximum runtime lease dropdown lists, select how long vApps can run before they are automatically stopped.
  6. From the Maximum storage lease dropdown lists, select how long stopped vApp are available before being automatically cleaned up.
  7. From the Storage cleanup dropdown list, select an option to dispose expired VMs.
  8. From the Maximum storage lease dropdown lists, select how long stopped vApp are available before being automatically cleaned up.
  9. From the Storage cleanup dropdown list, select an option to dispose expired VMs.
  10. In the All VMs quota section:

              a)  select or enter a fixed quota for the user.

             OR

              b)  select the circle beside Unlimited to grant the user with an unlimited quota.

  1. In the Running VMs quota section:

              a)  select or enter a fixed quota for the user.

             OR

              b)  select the circle beside Unlimited to grant the user with an unlimited quota.

  1. (Optional) In the Account lockout interval field, specify the amount of time a user will be locked out for.
  2. Click Next.
