If you would like to completely remove a disk from your virtual machine: 

  1. Click VIRTUAL MACHINES.

  1. Select the name of the virtual machine that you would like to attach a disk to.

  1. Click CONFIGURE.

  1. Select a data disk or an OS disk to delete.

  1. Click DELETE.

  1. Click YES to confirm the deletion.
