Protected Folders allow you to password protect directories inside your webspace.

To create a Protected Folder:

  1. Click on the Sites tab.
  2. Locate the Web Access section.
  3. Select Protected Folders
  4. Click Add new record.
  5. From the Website dropdown list, select a website.
  6. In the Path field, specify the path you want to protect. This path is relative to the web-root. (In the example above, tydskrif.com is the website we want to protect, / is the document root and images is the subdirectory that we want to password protect.)
  7. Select the Active checkbox to activate folder protection. To deactivate folder protection unselect the checkbox.
