You can specify the users who are allowed to log into password protected directories.
To create a Protected Folder User:
- Click on the Sites tab.
- Locate the Web Access section.
- Select Protected Folder Users.
- Click Add new record.
- From the Folder dropdown list, enter the folder you want this user to have access to. (In the example below, we protected tydskrif.com/images and we need to create a Web folder user who will have access to this site.)
- In the Username field, enter a user name.
- In the Password field, create the new user's password. (If you click Generate Password a strong password will be randomly created for you. Always ensure that the password strength indicator indicates that you are using a strong password.)
- In the Repeat Password field, re enter the password that you created in the previous step.
- Select the Active checkbox to activate the Protected Folder user. To deactivate the Protected Folder user unselect the checkbox.
- Click Save to confirm your changes.
