You can specify the users who are allowed to log into password protected directories.


To create a Protected Folder User:


  1. Click on the Sites tab.
  2. Locate the Web Access section.
  3. Select Protected Folder Users.
  4. Click Add new record.
  5. From the Folder dropdown list, enter the folder you want this user to have access to. (In the example below, we protected tydskrif.com/images and we need to create a Web folder user who will have access to this site.)
  6. In the Username field, enter a user name.
  7. In the Password field, create the new user's password. (If you click Generate Password a strong password will be randomly created for you. Always ensure that the password strength indicator indicates that you are using a strong password.)
  8. In the Repeat Password field, re enter the password that you created in the previous step.
  9. Select the Active checkbox to activate the Protected Folder user. To deactivate the Protected Folder user unselect the checkbox.
  10. Click Save to confirm your changes.
