Add or remove a DNS server in Hyper V

DNS servers can be added to your virtual network for name resolution. To add or remove a DNS server:

1. Click NETWORKS.

2. Select the network that you would like to modify.

3. Click CONFIGURE.

 

4. Perform the applicable actions below.

To add a DNS server:

1. In the DNS SERVERS field, enter the IP address of your DNS server.

2. Click SAVE to confirm the changes.

 

To remove a DNS server: 

1. Select the IP address of the DNS server you would like to remove.
2. Click X.

 

3. Click SAVE to confirm the changes.
