Creating a Workspace that connects to an Amazon S3 Workspace

To create a new workspace that connects to an Amazon S3 Workspace:


  1. Place your cursor over the Workspace tab.
  2. Click Add workspace...

  1. From the Create your own workspace pop-up window, select the S3 Amazon Workspace template.

  1. In the Label field, enter a name for the workspace.
  2. In the Key field, enter the API key of the S3 account.
  3. In the Secret Key field, enter the secret security key of the S3 account.
  4. From the Region dropdown list, select the region of the S3 account.
  5. In the Bucket field, enter the bucket container for the S3 shared files.
  6. In the Character Encoding field, select a character set if the S3 account does not set up correctly.
  7. In the Description field, enter a description for the workspace.
  8. From the Default Rights dropdown list, select the default read and write access rights for the user.
  9. Click the checkmark.
