Creating new Database Users

You need to create new database users before you can create databases.

To create new database users:

1. Click on the Sites tab.
2. Locate the Databases section.
3. Click Database users.
4. Click Add new user.

When you arrive at the Database Users page:

5. In the Database User field, enter a user name. (The database user name will be prefixed with the client id by default. If your client id is 22 and the database user is John, your database username will be c22john. We recommend not  using underscores (_) in database user names.)
6. In the Database password field, create the new user's password. (If you click Generate Password a strong password will be randomly created for you.)
7. In the Repeat Password field, re-enter the password that you created in the previous step.
8. Click Save.
