Shutdown a virtual machine in Hyper V

When you shutdown a virtual machine, the machine stops any running operations and then turns itself off. To shutdown a virtual machine:

1. Click VIRTUAL MACHINES.

 

2. Select the virtual machine that you would like to shutdown.

 

3. Click SHUTDOWN.

 

4. Click YES to confirm the action.
