An operating system that runs inside a virtual machine is known as a guest operating system. A guest operating system can be customized or personalized for virtual machines created from vApp templates.
To enable Guest Personalization:
- Log in as an administrator.
- Click on the Administration tab.
- Click the dropdown arrow beside Settings.
- Click Guest Personalization.
- checkbox to Enable domain join for virtual machines in this organization.
- In the'Domain 'name field, enter the guest domain name.
- User name field, create a user name for the guest.
- In the Password field, create a password for the guest.
- In the Account organizational unit, enter an organizational unit to associate with.
- Click Apply.
