Checkpoints act like restore points. They allow you to save the state of your virtual machine so you can revert back to it at a later time. To create a checkpoint:
- Click VIRTUAL MACHINES.
- Select the name of the virtual machine that you would like to modify.
- Click CHECKPOINTS.
- Click CREATE.
- Enter a display name for the checkpoint in the FRIENDLY NAME field.
- Enter a description in the DESCRIPTION field.
- Click the checkmark.
- Click YES to confirm the checkpoint.
