Checkpoints act like restore points. They allow you to save the state of your virtual machine so you can revert back to it at a later time. To create a checkpoint:


  1. Click VIRTUAL MACHINES.

  1. Select the name of the virtual machine that you would like to modify.

  1.  Click CHECKPOINTS.

  1. Click CREATE.

  1. Enter a display name for the checkpoint in the FRIENDLY NAME field.
  2. Enter a description in the DESCRIPTION field.

  1. Click the checkmark.
  2. Click YES to confirm the checkpoint.
