Publish a website through FTP in Hyper V

You can publish your website using FTP (File Transfer Protocol). To publish a website through FTP:


  1. Click WEB SITES.

  1. Select the website that you would like to use to FTP.

  1. Click DASHBOARD.

  1. Click Reset your deployment credentials.

  1. Setup the username and password.
  2. Click the checkmark.

  1. Open Internet Explorer and use the following url:

  1. Enter the username and password you just setup.
  2. Click Log on.

The following page should appear.

  1. Press Alt, Click View, and then click Open FTP Site in File Explorer. 

Windows Explorer should appear.

  1. Copy one of your own files into the website.

When you launch your website again, you will see your website.
